Floyd Johnson: The writer of the Christmas story,
Charles Duffy Floyd is my uncle. He is the youngest son of Jesse L. Floyd, Sr.,
and Angeletta Stout Floyd. He is half brother to my dad, Jesse L. Floyd, Jr.,
son of Jesse L. Floyd, Sr., and Eva Elizabeth Reed Floyd. The "best sister a
man ever had" referred to in his story is my dad's sister, Lucille Floyd Self,
the daughter of Jesse L. Floyd, Sr., and Eva Elizabeth Reed Floyd. They are the
